chat4j.de is the official test environment for JavaComm. You can try the program and test its functions there without obligation.

Why can’t I delete my account manually?

For security and privacy reasons, inactive accounts are automatically deleted. If you do not log in for 180 days, your account will be removed. Any new login resets the counter.

Is there a size limit for file sharing?

No. JavaComm allows transferring files of any size. The only limits are your internet connection and available storage.

Why do I get a “Connection timed out” message?

“Connection timed out” indicates network issues. The cause can be a router without configured port forwarding. Open ports 29467–29478 (TCP) for incoming and outgoing traffic. If the remote side is not publicly reachable, a direct connection is not possible.
